As part of ongoing efforts to build community, I conceived and executed audience engagement experiences that took place in the lobby at every performances.

Rep Rallies: Rep Rallies were pop-up performances by local artists that took place before every show. The performances ranged from a bassoon battle, a tap dance trio, drag queens and kings, lion dancers, original movement pieces, and a choreographed sword fight of the swashbuckling variety.

Pre-Show Pastimes: Before every performance, creative activity stations were set-up in the lobby for each show (many of them themed for the production).  Some activities included postcard writing, puzzling , coloring, having their face glitter-fied by a local make-up artist. These activities could be done solo or with friends, and they became a low pressure way for audience members to meet one another.
