Salonathon

POP! was a weekend festival of pop-up theatrical experiences in Bushwick in September of 2016.  Each POP! piece was free and took place in a public space to investigate relationships between the audience and the surroundings. POP! presented a wide range of theatrical forms. The pieces aimed to bridge the gap between isolation and intimacy; safety and danger; trust and vulnerability, spectator and participant.

I was awarded a Mark Bly Creative Capacities Fellowship from LMDA to make POP! happen. I conceived the project, curated the artists, and produced the festival.
